Review: Mega Bloks Play and Go Table
For our son’s first birthday he got a fair bit in the way of Mega Bloks and loved the colours and even started trying to stack the bloks. The bonus with Mega Bloks is they aren’t stiff to remove from one another, an issue I have found with Duplo when a child is a bit young. Another thing is these are much chunkier. But what is so special about this table?
Well you can take the four coloured squares off the table and store the Mega Bloks inside the table! Not only that but the legs fold away so you can lay it down on the floor for smaller children to get to, but also to help you carry it as it is the “Play and Go Table” and the two handles on the sides means you can just pick it up and put it into the car with no problems. And in the middle is a lock to keep the square boards in place so any blocks you have stored inside won’t fall out unless you turn the lock.
The table comes with some stickers, we never really used them for their actual purpose and instead we found Petit Boy just wanted to stick them on himself or on me! It also comes with a little truck and person and the pieces can be formed to make a road for it to run around on, which Petit Boy very much loves doing.
So what are our scores for this product?
Petit Mom’s Score: 9/10
Petit Boy’s Score: 9/10
The one issue we have with it is the type of blocks that come with it make it tricky to really build something without having to have already a stash of blocks. A few too many single blocks and not enough twos and threes, if that makes sense.
Very good product, lots of creativity can be done with this and the fact you can easily pack it up and take it with you to Grandparents’ house or on holiday means it keeps with the name of being a Play and Go Table. Thanks for reading!
